This past weekend, I came across one of the best triathlons I have encountered so far, the annual Mighty Mississinewa Triathlon (MMT) in Peru, Indiana.  The triathlon is a slightly longer version of a Sprint distance with a 500 meter swim, 16.6 mile road bike and 3.75 mile run.  In summary, the lake water and beach were beatifully clear and clean.  The biking was varied, hilly and on some very nice roads, while the run was part trail, part road which kept things fresh.  I wish the swim had also been longer, maybe 800 meters or so. I will definitely do this tri again and get as many friends to come with me as I can.
